We have a team of about 1500+ people who volunteer with us to identify, reach out to, verify and collect data on the people who are truly in need of your Zakat. These individuals painstakingly gather the required data which is constantly updated on the website to help categorize people not just in accordance to their needs but also geographically.

The process that is followed is a rigorous one that rules out any doubt. The person in need has to register himself or herself with the volunteers, who then carry out a thorough check of the applicants background while also asking for reference from two other individuals. All necessary details with regard to identity are also collected.

These volunteers have been successfully updating information in our online directory that anyone wishing to donate can access easily.  With the threat of middlemen eliminated, you can directly contact the applicant and get to know his/her needs better. They also regularly check up on the applicants just to make sure that everything they have stated is true.
